"Elite Fan" achievement (SOLVED)
Hello!

I have Sniper Elite 1 and Sniper Elite 3.

There is an achievement at SE3 that says that I also need to have Sniper Elite 2.

My question is if this achievement will be unlocked buying the Sniper Elite 2 Remastered, because the original SE 2 is not for sale anymore.

well se v2 was free to play at 2014 i was lucky having it

yes , since it is available(remastered at now) you may earn it ,but i'm not sure so if you need the original one you can buy it from store websites with a half price than v2 remastered. or simply wait for next sale

Thank you both for your answers!

I'm not sure that Remastered version will come with the original, and if it will be ok for the achievement, but maybe I'll give it a try next steam sale.

i don't know about this , if you have the original already you can upgrade to remastered with half price , or you buy the remastered alone and you will get the full price , why it includes
origianl with remastered when they don't put it on sale in the store page !
if that's correct then you better own them zep gL

Finally, I got the achievement.

I came here because I want to tell to other players that maybe in the future need it.
And was hard for me to find exact information about it.

I bought Sniper Elite V2 Remastered and it came with the Sniper Elite 2 (the non-remastered) ALSO inside.
(That was one of my doubts)

So I put to install the non-remastered and the Sniper Elite 1, that I already had, and opened the Sniper Elite 3.

The achievement didn´t pop up inside the game but I minimized and there it was at steam, unlocked!!

So, the achv says 'own', but you have to play them too? Geez steam, what a weird achv.


Update:
I played SE3, and when I 'so called' closed the game (freezed after a shift tab) the achv popped up, so no need to install the 1st and 2nd edition.

Another question: what happens if I refund SE1? 7 Euro is too much for an achv and a game I will never play? I will loose this achv?
