Changing language to English

Hi all,

I'd like to play Sniper Elite 3 in English, but I can't see any kind of options in the menu to change the language, my copy is in Polish. How would I go about this?

Some people have reported that there are overlapping text issues and no voices. One of the links still works (I cannot post it because it gets automatically removed because it's a site known for hosting copyright-infringing material.).

This is exactly what I tried, however, when I started the game, the text in the main menu was literally invisible. I could choose stuff, but no text could be found. I've been searching for a solution ever since.

What kills me about this problem, Kurt, is there's no excuse for it. English, Russian, Czech, Polish, Spanish, Italian, French, and Portugese players spend the most money on games (add in Japanese, Hangul, and Chinese). Games ought to have at least three languages to choose from in their Options menus, and English should be one for the simple fact that English speakers spend the most money on games—for a variety of reasons, because a lot of English speakers have different languages native to their own countries.

But, really! There ought to be back-end support to switch the language to English. I take it that the developers show no interest in helping?

There are 9 supported languages for Sniper Elite 3. A lot of work goes into the translations for each dialect.

In order to change your language you will need to right click Sniper Elite 3 in steam. Then hit properties. Another box will appear then hit the Language tab. You can choose your preferred language from here.

Thank you very much. I made the mistake of assuming OP had indeed contacted Rebellion, but then it occurred to me that he might not have, which was why I ended my last post as I did—a diplomatic if not disingenuous tactic.

OP: You really should have contacted Rebellion on this matter.

The one thing now on steam getting on my nerves is the plethora of Russian - from videos to posts to guides. Everything is in Russian.
I don't mind Russian or that it is there. Just that I don't understand it and I need a filter in Steam to remove anything other than English in my view.

I'm sure Russians love this and that is what they want. However, adding a language filter will help a lot here on Steam. Make a tag or auto-tag videos/posts/guides in non-English.

People can sub to whatever language they want.
