What exactly Muzzle Velocity means?
The game doesn't have much of a tutorial, I'm trying to choose my loadouts, but I have no idea what muzzle velocity is and how that affects my gameplay. Anyone?

Muzzle velocity: The speed of the bullet. The higher, the more likely you don't have to compensate for travel distance.

It's more or less what I'd imagined then. It doesn't really matter if you're playing on lower difficulties, since the bullet goes in a straight line according to the tooltips. Nevertheless I'm going Veteran/Realistic/Full, so it definitely matters for me. Thank you.

It's bullet drop, it won't affect you with ballistics off or on the lowest difficulty. I'd recommend picking a scope style that works for you then trying out the different rifles, you should notice a big difference in drop between bolt action and semi auto rifles.

Yeah, I'm testing out rifles at the firing range to see the differences. SE3 reminds me more of the first game than V2. I played so much Sniper Elite back in the day that I got used to the distance markings on my rifles, I'm trying to get a similar feel in this game now.
