This game somehow scratched the futuristic society itch for me that Cyberpunk 2077 couldn't.

after reconsidering it, this was a great game, but require you a computer science degree to optimize it. so far detroit is the map that has the worst stutter imo, other than that stutter might still occur just not too often.

This is one that just hasn't aged well. It was a bit odd when it came out but MAN is it a product of it's time.

Overall, the story & writing is OK, I think the characters and the world is pretty cool, the graphics are solidly-mid but the gameplay is... really bad.

They really wanted to give you options like the original Deus Ex but it's all very contrived. Rooms have multiple ways in but there's usually one (too) obvious way which makes the others pointless. Enemies always know where you are and the gun play is downright awful.

Honestly, I'd say unless you are a massive Deus Ex fan, there's not really a point in playing this one. The neither the game play nor the graphics hold up compared to other games of the era.

The music and voice acting is top notch though.
