Does killing Burke mess pacifist run?

Does killing Burke mess pacifist run, or he counts as boss fight? Or killing in "missing link" is apart from original game even though they are in one game now....

Killing him counts you out of the achievment, because, unlike the other bossfights where you have no choice in the matter, you can actually knock him out.

The best you can do is chuck an EMP Grenade/Mine at the robot and hope it kills someone nearby; don`t worry, it doesn`t ruin the Pacifist achievement, I did it on the ambush in the second visit to Hengsha and still got Pacifist.

Note that I would strongly advise doing this, as I believe, and many other sources online also believe, that this does indeed count as a 'kill' as far as pacifist is concerned.

Or in other words, I think this person is wrong.

Not sure what kind of robot they're talking about in this situation, but if it's a box guard, which say "Self-destructing" when EMPed before blowing up, then those don't count against Pacifist. Any other kind of robot/turret that explodes and kills someone will count against you however.

This has been confirmed by a lot of people on the forums.

The problem isn't that you "kill" the robot and lose the pacifist. Its that when you "kill" the robot it blows up and takes someone else out. Thats when you lose the pacifist.
