Inventory mod?
I've heard that there's an inventory mod for Deus Ex: HRDC, but have yet to find it anywhere (and for that matter, probably wouldn't know how to install it.

So is this true? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

who did you "hear it" from that wasnt able to show you where they supposedly got it?

and no, i've never seen an inventory mod. but you can just buy a larger inventory in the game with praxus points.

not that you really need it; theres almost no reason to carry more than a couple of weapons and a few stacks of mines

Well, the reason is that you can sell items less often:) And it is easier to work with weapon upgrades and so on, it is just convenient:)

It's not a bigger inventory, it's a mod that makes some unstackable items stackable (i.e.: food, grenades, etc.), and I know there's bigger inventory size, but i'd just rather be able to stack some more things.

Its a perfectly reasonable request. If you cant point him in the right direction you should just stay quiet.

@SgtPhalen
there is debug mod (there is a DC version there too) - http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=121245&highlight=burger+mod

Thanks, debug menu should be able to fix the stacking, right?

Not 100% sure about that as its been a while since I used it, but you are able to increase inventory with upgrades. Either way its very useful.

Edit: a quik google search found a mod that increases stack sizes. Here- http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2095746

The increased stack mod will work on the DE:HR but I have been unable to find one for the directors cut version, they use different game files so the HR version won't work with the HRDC version.
If anyone finds the increased stack mod for HRDC let me know.

I played through the original w/o inventory mod. Played through DC with and enjoyed it a lot more since I'm primarily nonlethal, it largely eliminated the time I had to waste futzing around with inventory space for items I rarely used.

I forget where exactly I found a working inventory mod though, so I'll upload the one I have at some point tonight, assuming electricity stays on (recent storms killed power @home for a couple days).

Okay, here are the files required for the Director's Cut:

modhook: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_nPDlBNrywMNllCWTJRYnRUZHM/edit

You need to backup the DFEngine.dll file in your main Deus Ex directory, then replace it with the included one, create a mods directory in the main Deus Ex directory, put the two gibbed files in there, and then add the following file to the mods directory: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_nPDlBNrywMQS0tZE5uWWQyRTA/edit?usp=sharing

Thank you. That was very helpful.
