FOXY FOH Achievement FINALLY!

If you have been following my long saga of not being credited with FOH achievement. The many hoops I've jumped through. You may ask, what did it take to finally get the achievement credit?

Oh, not so much in terms of game play. Same old same old there. What it did take though was deleting all DE:HR-DC content from my computer, uninstalling Steam, running my drive cleaner and reloading Steam and my games. First playthrough on my new install and I have the FOH achievement.

So my big question to Steam is. What's up with that?

Any of you DEx players find yourself in similar circumstances please consider this one more in a long series of the many posted fix's for this game "bug".

Deleting save games didn't work for me. Neither did deleting the user data file, or any of the other many 'fixes' posted to resolve this bug. I had to go all in and start from scratch. It seems like not everything said to resolve the bug works for everyone consistantly. Kind of like the issues with the graphiics. Not everyone suffers equally. :-)

Also, I don't think other save files have anything to do with FoH. I got that achievement after a playthrough with some lethal takedowns (and after several restarts in my FoH run when I accidentally killed NPCs) and the achievement popped just fine w/o having to erase save games or anything. The achievement is definitely buggy, but I don't think it scans all save game files unless there's a serious error of some sort.

Thankee. It seems to be a rather hit and miss achievement on Steam, at any rate.
