The SSAO (ambient occlusion) in this game sucks
I tested the differences between having it off, or on normal, or high.

The effect is barely noticeable, but when it's on high it shaves off 40 fps, from 120 to 80. That's just completely broken. I could notice no difference between normal and high. If there is one, it's very small.

Off = 120 fps
Normal = 106 fps
High = 80 fps

I was looking up info for doing it some other way, with the control panel or ENB, or whatever, but I couldn't find anything good, and ambient occlusion is disabled in my Nvidia control panel for this game. :(

Did either of you notice this while running the game in Direct X 11 or 9? Just curious. I've got a good rig, but I still am not the best at optimizing or running games the way I should.

The WII from which this craptastic port was ported, Does not support half the features the original release did. So it's not surprising a good deal of them are still broken or don't work right.
