Is it worth it?
After pouring nearly 70 hours on the original version, I still occasionally come back to it as it is one of my favorite games ever. With that being said, I still try to be wise with my money, so is it really worth the money to get this version? I haven't played the DLC so that would be nice, but besides that do all the improvements and graphical upgrades make it worth buying?

I've heard that this version is buggier and glitchier than the original version. I've played the missing link and it's not that special. Personally, I'd save my money for something else.

Yes.

I'm wondering about this, too.

They made the director's cut with an older build of the game that still has bugs that were patched out in the non director's cut version.

Then theyy changed the lighting and gave you the DLCs included. Repackaged it as the DC version and stopped selling the older versions.

The Missing Link may or may not be enjoyed seperately as it takes away all your skills at it's start. So putting it in the middle of the game can make things seem disjointed. Personally I enjoyed it after playing through the main game.

There's no point if you already have the original and the DLC, unless you're just looking for an excuse to play through it again. It is a really good game though.

i own the game and already finished it, but i was interested by the director's cut version because of the "new game +" mode especially, but my game don't have any bugs or gliches, so i don't want to pay AGAIN to have a 0version full of bugs...
I was looking for somone to tell me "they patch the director's cut version now u can take it dude" but as i see this comment, i guess its not...

Yeah, I also have the original + the missing link, so if the DC is full of bugs than they won't get my money.

Well since it is only 4 dollars right now, this is the best time to get it

I came here for the same reason. Seems like the publisher doesn't really care wether there are bugs in this or not. And I do understand why, from a financial viewpoint. Still, I am disappointed that nothing changed since they released the Director's Cut.
