Letting zeke go a good discission?

I was able to convince zeke to let go of the hostage and let him go. Was that a good discision or will it bite me in the ass later on?

It can have some good and some bad consequences, but overall, probably a decently good choice. Zeke will give you a PDA with some codes on it that make part of a mission easier. Later on, he will try to trap you, but you get a good reward if you evade his trap.

What exactly is his trap. And how long in the story will it take for me to get to his trap.

The second time you get to Detroit, when you go hunting for Sandoval, Zeke will try to blow you up and then shoot you.

Morally, you know it's the right thing to do; save lives, even those of your enemies. But since it's a game, you don't need to have a single doubt that it'll be beneficial

Last time I played, I decided to choose the "Fight Zeke" option, and the instant the cinematic ended, I shot him with the stun gun before he could kill his hostage. That way he got arrested and the cops were all happy, and the hostage got saved, so everyone else was happy too.

Bastard still showed up at his brothers house though, and I'm not big on giving second chances so this time Zeke got a bullet for his trouble.
