Is Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut seen as a separate game?
I own the original game and have plans to get the director's cut. Will this mean I have two versions in my library? Like this:

Games:
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut

Thanks in advance!

I have both in my library

Yes.

Not much more to add then that. If you've got the DLC version of Missing Link that works the same way.

What about "The Fall"? Is that in the Director's Cut? Because I can't find anything on the store page explaining what the Director's Cut actually is, I already have the game and I later bought Missing Link. Are they just asking for 3 quid to add the same game with a different name?

I'd like to know this as well, and also do the directors cut have a seperate achievment list? I would like to play throught the game again with directors cut and wouldnt mind being able to unlock the achievments again as i play through.

Director's Cut contains all the DLC integrated into the main story. Normally, you would launch Missing Link separately. With the DC, however, it's seamlessly inserted into the main game. It also has separate achievements, so you will be able to unlock those again, yes.

Hey man,

I did end up getting the DC. The DC doesn't come with Deus Ex The Fall as that is a separate game. The Fall is however a mobile port so don't expect much. TotalBiscuit had a video on it.

The Director's Cut does in fact have separate achievements. As it stands now, I have two copies of Deus Ex in my library.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut

The DC is seen as a separate game with it's own achievements.

Hope this helped you out!

Thanks, I'm getting it, I want to get all those achievements again! So happy :)) Plus I didn't get a chance to try the DLC before and would love to see how the boss fights are now!

No it's not, The Fall is, for better or worse, a separate game on a different engine. The Director's Cut is the same game, the only tangible difference is redesigned boss fights that now have more variety in how you can take out the bosses. The achievement list for DC is separate.

Interesting that when I got the DC for Xbox360 I expected seperate achievements, but nope, it said I already had 1000/1250 or whatever total because I didn't play the DLC before. Cheesed me off, it did.

*EDIT* I went on to play other things because of this, it'll be a long time before I play the DC on 360, you can't play the DLC right away :/ and this one has achivements for me all the way along to the end :)
