How to kill PICUS Boss
I don't have a stun gun and all the walkthroughs I've found all involve using the stun gun :/

What weapons/supplies do you have and what does your aug build look like?

I have heavy assault rifle, machine gun pistol, pistol, revolver (limited amount of ammo though) and my AUG build is mainly hack / stealth

Have you tried shooting?

Oh no, I never thought of that o.O silly me... I managed to do it by going upstairs and switching the turrets too "enemies" switched on the gas so she came up stairs and finished it in no time :P

I didn't die even once while dealing with Mantis. But i am playing a very slow game, with all side quests, all doors opeened, all computers hacked etc etc...So, my build is very strong and i had a lot of healing on me, and a lot of EMP mines and FRAG mines which i planted in the middle. When she stumbles on a mine i was shooting at her with heavy rifle close range :-P

You mean Federova right? Female Russian mercenary methinks? I made use of the P.E.P.S. weapon once starting the controntation in order to slow down Federova for a few seconds, then deploy Frag mines and shoot away with Heavy Rifle. I would've continued the routine and watch Federova's defeat but due to a bit of impatience I used another P.E.P.S. round and cheaply defeated her with the Typhoon.

You can deal a fair amount of damage heads on, when you shoot the 4 "power relays" on the outer walls of the room. I have no screenshot of it, but they are pretty obvious. Just look for the blue light circles. Shoot them till they turn red, then shoot them some more and they shock the wet floor. Just be sure to have the aug, which protects against EMP/electricity. This will even stun her for a fair amount of time, so you can pump some bullets in. Typhoon works wonders, too.

the instant the fight starts, i run to the left following the wall to a hackable door. she gave me more than enough time to hack it and run thru to upstairs to hack or break thru the wall toset the turrets there to Enemies. after that, its just a matter of running around in circles upstairs letting the 2 turrets turn her into swiss cheese.

Just give her 2 shots of Typhoon. Once the beginning, next time when she became visisble, till the meantime just shoot her. Typhoon is cheap aug and easily handles those big mech stoo.

I thought that was the easiest boss fight in game - just run around the room and shoot at glowing circles on walls: there are 4 or 5 glowing sections, which are "powering" the computing core. Every time you destroy one it will release an electrical charge on the floor, so if you don't have an armor upgrade to protect you from EMI, you need to make sure that you are standing on clear platform as it explodes.

On the max. difficulty it works the same way + maybe a few bursts from the heavy riffle or 2-3 mines/grenades.

I know this was almost 2 yrs ago, but this saved my playthrough. Thanks! Otherwise, I would have been screwed, and very unhappy.

You are welcome. I was replaying the game not too long ago myself. Still trying to get 100% achievements...

I wish I had that kind of dedication. Or the time. I used to be a 100% completionist as well, but it just takes too much of a time commitment for me to stick with it that long anymore.

Advice for the "Doctorate" achievement: Don't try to get it in "New Game +". It didn't work for me (today) and I know some other people who had the same problem.
