100% Working fix for Stuttering
I have tried these 2 fixes on multiple PC setups & they always work like a charm .

Method 1: This is preferred method for folks with rigs that exceed games recommended system requirements.

- Right click on desktop & go to nvidia control panel , select the games profile in manage 3d settings & set the Vsync method to Fast.

- Next run the game & disable both in game Vsync & triple buffering, turn all graphics settings to max & be sure that the game is running in DX11. All stutters would be gone now.

Method 2: This is preferred method for folks with low or medium specs PC but can be used with high end Pc's aswell

- Turn on DX11 & Vsync both but keep the Triple Buffering off & set all graphics settings according to your system specs.

- Then Download MSI afterburner from https://www.msi.com/Landing/afterburner/graphics-cards

- After that install msi afterburner and Rivatuner both, Rivatuner comes bundled with MSI afterburner software. You don't need to download Rivatuner separately. Use Rivatuner to Limit the games frame rate to 2 digits below your monitors refresh rate like example ( for 60hz display use 58 or for 75hz use 73).

- Finally right click desktop & select nvidia control panel, go to manage 3d settings tab on left side, in there select program settings & add deus ex human revolution, in the program settings of the game scroll down & find power management mode, set it to prefer maximum performance.

- Now play the game & all stutters would be gone

As i said earlier i tried these 2 methods in multiple setups like desktops or laptops and they always work like charm.

Not much difference graphically but if you like the look of the original deus ex you can easily restore the filter of the original in director cut

Hey. Do you know if simply running the game in fullscreen, enabling Vsync but disabling triple buffering mitigates this issue? I saw someone a few years back mentioning that by disabling triple buffering helped because it was apparently broken. I don't have the game installed, so if anyone can confirm whether or not this works then that would be appreciated.

I can confirm you that disabling Triple buffering doesn't solves the stuttering issues .

this is technically the Wii U port, which in and of itself was an older build of the original DX HR release which is no longer available for sale on steam. OG version has no issues with stutters.

Thank you man! As I had big stuttering issues with a 5700xt barely hitting 60% utilization and 3900x, I was really annoyed. I tried your second method, but by activating Radeon Chill for the game with 60 fps min and 144 fps max settings. Fixed all stuttering for me. Thank you again!
