I don't understand NG+ in this game.
Feel free to correct me there cuz I didn't get to that point just yet, but I don't understand why this game has an NG+.

I know, bold statement, but hear me out for a moment.
I too love it when a game has NG+. Some of my favorite games of all time have that feature, but I just don't get why it's a thing for this game specifically.

I mean, by the time when the events of Missing Link begin, all your upgrades are taken away.
Sure, you can get them back, but once you're done with it, you don't even get a fraction of all the upgrades you had before TML even started.
And I've seriously looked everywhere in an attempt to find as many kits as I could.

Unless NG+ disables that completely, I don't see much of a reason for DXHR to have it.

I tend to agree. There's very little in the game that you're restricted by because of a lack of certain mods. You can generally get everything you need when you need it. Trying again later wouldn't seem to be any different.
Yeah, without the Hardcore Revival mod, NG+ is pointless really. But I am currently on a HCR no-aug run. It can get tight at some points.

NG+ ignores the usual billion praxis limit, but that limit doesn't even matter.
It has new game+ because it was a hot new thing at the time, so they threw it in. It's done infinitely better in MD.

I hate that the missing link get all your praxis points. It makes no sense. They are an exchange system to activate the augments that are already install in you.
The mission is cool, the level is fine, the story line inside is correct, but the parxis point thing, F that.

What do you mean? I got every single praxis point back and all my gear. You get it all back at the end of TML from a suitcase.

But other than that i agree NG+ is pointless in this game. It doesn't even save your inventory ... I was hoping to use the Plasma Rifle on anything other than the "zombified" civilians in Panchea ... but nope.

I sure didn't get all my upgrades back the first time I played the game.
Before TML, I invested into alot of augs that enhanced basically everything. Movement, wall vision, cloaking, strength, armor.
After TML however, I barely had a half of all the prax necessary to re-upgrade my aug abilities. And that was from the suitcase.

Well that's not what happened in my game. I got all my praxis points back on top of ones i earned during TML.

Maybe you had a bug or missed something at the end?
