I still think the answer is to load a previous save before the morgue and move bodies out of any of the hallways just to be safe.
I tried reloading a save from earlier to no avail. Same result.
The alarm only triggers upon crossing a specific boundary, which implies that something (ie a guard about to touch an alarm panel) is being loaded. That, however, does not make sense because DE:HR relies on loading screens and not the on-the-fly, chunk-based loading that most modern games use.
I am befuddled.
So now when I attempt to approach the office the camera seems to notice something and goes straight to "Alarmed" state instead of being suspicous first. I figured I'd actually try going around through loading bay 2 but as soon as I exit the double doors under the turret same thing happens, even though I'm nowehere near any cameras or anyone that could notice me.
So yea.. ♥♥♥♥.
Only thing that's changed is that I'm now on Windows 10 Pro N instead of Win7
I've had and still have some issues with it on other games like GTA V and IV so that's the only cause I could think of.
I'll try to rememeber to report back here when I get around to installing a different version in windows though.
As I mentioned above, 5 guards spawn in the admin sector when you go to the morgue, so that won't mean a thing if the bodies are still seen through grates.
I managed to get him stuck in a postion where I could sneak past him and so in total I knocked out just the one guard in the tower, and no alarm glitch.
Seems to me that if he gets stuck in a postion where his knocked out body would be seen by the above camera, even though it's not there anymore, trigers the alarm at specific points.
Either way, it's possible to get around the problem by touching nobody
They don't even use them, not even the cameras are triggerd by anything. The alarm just goes off... :D
