Whats a P.E.P.S.?

I found PEPS energy pack and a rocket. Should I just sell these? What do they go with?

It depends on the style of play you're using, lethal or non-lethal.

Rocket is really effective but takes up too much space.

The PEPS, however, can be useful but it is noisy and you have to be careful how you use it, personally I found it very useful at the end of the game (I played in stealth ghost mode).

It's a physics gun. A less-lethal pulsed plasma laser weapon.

Note that it FIRES THROUGH BADGUYS AND ALL OTHER ITEMS. The closer the target is, the more exaggerated the knock-down effect is, modified by the armor and weight of whatever's caught in the blast.

Heavy armor troopers cannot reliably be put down in a single PEPS blast, even at point blank, but instead drop to their knees for many seconds.

Once you've fired, it's smarter to put the peps away, rather than wait for the tedius cooldown and reload. Think of it like a flintlock pistol. One shot is all it takes to put a whole line of cops or hitmen on their backs, and even belltower armored guards tend to get rattled severely by it.

But (and I can't say this enough) if you are going for the pacifist achievement be very careful when using it. It can often kill NPC's (directly sometimes) or more commonly indirectly, but blowing up a robot or barrel near NPC's, killing them.

Sell or drop both. The weapons they go to are both ineffective and hog entirely too much inventory space. PEPS is supossedly a ranged knockout weapon; however, it has a tendacy to kill enemies, which will defeat a pacificst run. The rocket launcher requires 3-4 direct hits to down a spider bot; whereas, a single EMP grenade will destroy it, thus saving a ton of inventory space.

there is a P.E.P.S gun to be found in the police station in destroit at the start of the game after the first missoin[/spoiler

and the rocket launcher is in the gang base near the end of the chapter, a P.E.P.S. in the police armory locker with a few cartridges.
