You dont have to use cover at all.
Cover happens automatically regardless of settings so you just don't get the point, no way to stop it. don't comment unless you are aware of a bug or glitch, patch or upgrade to fix it. .. unless you are a troll with no manners, then go nuts if you like to spam threads where players are trying to solve problems... not disappointed by the r-tard responses so far, exactly what I expected, zero content or comment on the problem. Keys are lame... no glitch on keys? ok, good for you....

1) You clearly have no sense of structure. Reading that first post of yours probably gave me and many others.. cancer.
2) You say it's a game mechanic, when it's clearly not. If it was a game mechanic, the same thing would happen when playing with a mouse and keyboard but clearly this is not the case. You know, I even tried playing the game with a controller and guess what? Worked fine, no "auto-cover". While that doesn't mean that the problem doesn't exist, it does prove that it's not a game mechanic. It has to be a bug then. PC gaming, man. These things happen.
3) If you've really been playing the series since day one, then it's just beyond me why you're playing it as a shooter.
4) So you're actually expecting the devs to read this? Not going to happen, sadly. And I don't think the series is going to die because of a few compatibility mishaps.
I don't think there'll be a patch anytime soon either, if ever. So if you want to play the game, I would suggest trying a different controller or playing with a mouse and keyboard.
PS. I hope you'll (very, very) soon finally grow up and see the irony in your posts.
Okay. I think the only one who has reading comprehension issues here is you. You clearly didn't even read my post, even though I tried to make it simple for you. Nowhere in my post did I call you any names, what I did was give you cold, hard facts about the glitch you've been experiencing. It's a compatibility issue that comes with the director's cut. Maybe you would have better luck if you could find a key for the original release.
Honestly, I think it's hilarious how you keep undermining yourself with every one of your posts. Allow me to elaborate. In your first post you said you have been playing the series since day one. In your second post... you said that "keys are lame". FYI, the original Deus Ex didn't even have controller support. Not that there are enough keys on a controller to even play the game properly.
I feel obligated to point out the irony in your posts, since clearly, the only "kid" here is you.
Oh, and are you ready for the last bit that pieces it all together?
You're acting like a little ♥♥♥♥♥ and expecting people to be nice to you. If you don't see what's wrong with that, you clearly have even more issues than you've already indicated with your posts. Have a nice day.
PS. Why the hell are you even using a PC if "keys are lame"?
