crash on start up

game was running fine a day ago, now its crashing on start up. anyone know how to fix this?

steam verify game files

run game from game folder .exe and NOT from your steam library or icon. sometimes an error msg appears not hidden by steam.

there were recent windows updates. did you get them? were they installed correctly?

yep did all that still, still not starting up.

game wonte even start, the play button on steam goes from green back to blue. tried disabling DX11 and lowing all my settings in the setup launcher and made sure to update my computer. still doesn't want to work.

game worked then did not. since there is no error msg either on screen or in the windows event viewer, can only guess/assume something changed on your pc since the game has not been updated.

check windows update history. see if you got one since you last played. perhaps update failed.

uninstall the game/reinstall.

I've literally tried everything, verifying integrity, uninstalling, windows updates, turning off dx11 and lowering all the settings in the launcher, nothing is working

Some machines come with onboard graphics built into the chip that conflict with Video Cards. Check your machine for an Onboard Graphics Card and disable it if equipped. Sometimes you have to enter the BIOS to disable it, and some allow it from within Windows. Search the net to learn more about disabling onboard graphics.
