Best augmentations to buy in the beginning of Missing Link?
I've bought some of the hacking augs, lift, jump, and inventory augs in the beginning. Any idea what other augs I should prioritize first before spending them on the "less useful" ones?

I just went with what I used for the play style up to ML. E.g,, cloaking for stealth. You get the idea. I'm actually at the same point in my first play-through as well. Sounds like you are too.

I was actually doing a New Game + run, so I already had all the augs bought before the Missing Link. It's just that it had been a while since I played it and had to restart from scratch. But I already passed this section and beat it and got all my Praxis Kits and augmentations back at the end.

Actually, no. I just arrived at the end of the level and am about to leave the base. You get all the gear back but not the Praxis points or Augmentations.

My conundrum now is what weapons to take with me. I always stash my best weapons somewhere and have quite a few upgraded choices: heavy rifle, laser rife, burkes kickass revolver, 10mm, upgraded rocket launcher. What to do?

Any suggestions Iggy?

I don't think people know how they're supposed to get it back. There's basically a crate with your ammo, gadgets, and the rest of your inventory before you enter the cryopod. When you open it, you also gain ALL the Praxis Points you earned before you started the DLC (Director's Cut). However, depending on whether it's a regular new game, or new game +, you'll get all your Praxis points in addition to the ones earned during the DLC (at new game +) or only up to a maximum of 63 praxis kits, regardless of how many you had before you left Hengsha port.

Also, you can take all your weapons that you have on your person before you plant the bomb. They're usually in the crate on the ship when you find your stuff. If you want to keep all them, I'd suggest investing in the Strength augments that increase your inventory. Trust me, you'll plenty of kits later on and more to unlock all the other augmentations.

In terms of the actual weapons themselves, I'd suggest combat rifle, magnum pistol, and PEPS gun. Other weapons, such the heavies, are good if you like assault, but they also take up WAY too much space, so much that you're unlikely to have room for both a heavy rifle, laser rifle, and upgraded rocket launcher. You won't really need any of those for the DLC (if you want to deal with the boxguard, EMP grenades and mines work wonders). The heavy rifle and laser rifle are ONLY useful for loud assaults.

If you care about stealth in anyway, a fully upgraded combat rifle and pistol can do just as much damage, take up less space, and allow silencers. And PEPS and stung gun if you're really trying to go for Pacifist. The only "big" rifle I would carry throughout the DLC for stealth is the tranquilizer gun. All the big fancy guns don't even have that much ammo available for them, and chew through whatever they do. Burke's golden revolver only has 15 rounds total that you can find in the DLC itself.

yea i prefer ZZZ pistol + PEPS pistol + ZzZ sniper rifle and big lazer gun for last boss + assault riffle.
Kinda sad that 99% of targets is just a normal dudes that not deserve to die :D i played this game like 5 times and i just can not go throw assault path :D i never even used the kill animations for Q

On rechecking my last save (not NG+) I did receive my Praxis points back (24). I was aware of the 63 max allowed in a game. Thanks for the info.
