In the world where Mankind Divided happens, the whole station blow up before Adam even got to the control room, and he nearly drowned and froze to death.
Been a long time since I tried getting through MD and never finished it, though. So grain of salt.
Adam would be about the juicest target out there for that sort of tech, though, to act as Devil's Advocate. The whole aug acceptance thing.
The two obvious ones are:
- Hugh Darrow's plan to release videos confessing to the conspiracy occurs, as seen in some minor dialogues and background magazines in MD.
- Panchaea is destroyed, whether or not Jensen does so intentionally. Without the Hyron Project to serve as the brain of the computer, the station couldn't withstand the water pressure.
The plan that Taggart has for his ending is mentioned in a side conversation in Prague as a conspiracy theory that some people have, but otherwise isn't lingered on too much.
As for Sarif, there clearly are people who shared his optimism for augmentation despite the Aug Incident. So while Jensen didn't create propaganda for him like in that ending, the main point of that ending continues on in some parts of the world.
Panchaea gets mentioned several times in Mankind Divided, since the Aug Incident was what led to aug ghettos like Golem City. But it does get destroyed no matter what, since the Hyron Project is shut down during the final battle of HR no matter what ending you pick afterward.
But i found the message frome the devs that told that yes all ending is canon cuz Panchaea was dmged so hard that it will blow up anywa but plus on that they told that at the start of developing they wanted to make the blow station choose as canon.
But since blowing station mean that everybody dead it can no be canon by default cuz Sharif is still alive in DE MD.
When speaking to Sarif, one option leads to him explaining that he escaped Panchaea in a lifeboat/escape pod type device, but nearly suffocated when the oxygen supply ran out. He and Adam are specified as two of the very few known survivors, which is why Sarif is suspicious of Adam being the "real" Adam. It's noted in loading screen backstory that Pancaea's destruction killed the previous leader of the Czech Republic, because she was pro-aug and without her the country became very anti-aug.
If you do install the modded biochip, the villains activate it during the fight in Singapore to turn off your HUD and all your augs, forcing you to fight with basic weapons during the boss fight. Megan then removes the code doing this in the post-boss cutscene, just before Darrow activates his backdoor program.
