Try disabling vsync or putting the game on an SSD.

Don't know what your setup is. Could be a number of reasons. I had stutters when I first started playing. However, I got this game running super smooth on a i7 laptop with an intel HD520 graphics chip.

What I did was download a program called 'Advanced System Care'. I used this program to clear my computer of rubbish; clean my RAM; and used the boost mode to stop unwanted background processes. It had an immediate effect.

Try it out, it's free and may make the difference.

I'm also facing Lag issues in Deus Ex human revolution Directors Cut.

My PC Specs :

I7 9TH GEN
16 GB RAM
512 GB SSD
RTX 2060

After disabling v-sync and reducing all graphical setting to low I got like 300 FPS. however the game still stuttered alot. I dont understand the issue.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided ran on constant 60 fps on highest settings .

It must be a problem with the game and not our rigs, and i think specifically the directors cut because i saw people saying that the original version did not have stuttering so idk

For me is stuttering only in DX9 mode. But that is propably issues with Radeon drivers. DX11 mode is smooth.

Through the Nvidia Control Panel or the Nvidia Profile Inspector, bring up Deus Ex: Human Revolution's profile settings and set its Vertical Sync to "Fast Sync". No clue about AMD but, it should be similar. Hope this works out!
