Helicopter stuck in midair

I complete the main mission in Derelict Row and shut down the antenna. As Malik arrives, I leave to complete a side quest. When I come back, the helicopter is stuck in midair, and I can't move on to the stuff I was supposed to do next, as there is no prompt to exit the area and start the next mission.

I can't backtrack either, as I have saved right before I reenter Derelict Row, and I don't have a backup.

Is there a way to undo the glitch without having to redo the game that I've already gone through (and spent too much time on)? I'm not entirely sure and I can't find another instance of this happening.

What about the auto saves? I had similar problems with the side quest with megans mom.

Auto saves just went to the same area and time of the bug

You could try entering another area like Jensen's appartement. That way the script might restart.

I just tried to enter the Chiron building to reset the helicopters script. It didn't work when I tried it.

I guess you'll have to start a new game. Or did you find a way?
