Asus VQ248 Displayport no signal.
Whenever I start this game I my monitor goes black and shows "Displayport no signal". When I hit windows+d to go to the desktop the monitor works. I have never experienced a problem before with my monitor until I bought and ran this game 5minutes ago.

The sound works, and when I move my mouse I hear it going over menubuttons.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Edit 1:

I edited the registry to start the game in windowed mode, then i can hit maximize. It's still windowed but at least i can play the game.

Hitting alt+enter for real fullscreen makes the game crash.

I guess there is an issue with fullscreen & my monitor + gfx card (ati rx 480). I'm running the latest drivers for all devices, including the monitor.

Edit 2:

After setting the gfx settings in-game to the resolution of my monitor and changing the windowed mode to borderless in the windows registry the game is now running as if it was complete fullscreen; albeit it being windowed fullscreen.

In any case, my problem appears to have been resolved using some trickeries.

Having said this, if someone has an actual solution to just start the game in "fullscreen" mode, don't hesitate to reply.

Easy fix apparently.

Yeah, I've seen this video already, and:

1. There is no way I'm going to plug my power cable in & out all the time when I get this error.
2. It does not fix my issue, so why bother.

The "solution", which I edited in my original post, works just fine and does not require me to pull cables. It's "windowed mode" as complete "full screen".

Given that this issue only occurs with this game in particular, it must be is making a call to a dll or whatever which triggers the issue. Thus when I asked if anybody has a fix I was hoping for a patch or anything using software to ensure this issue does not trigger anymore.
