stealth vs fighting
i´m more of a stealth player and feel disapointed from what i´m seen so far in the first 4 or 5 hours.

Just shooting all enemies ist so much easier and i don´t see any drawbacks from doing so.
On the other hand stealth just feels frustrating, not one bit cool (like in spinter cell for example) and seems to have no benefits.

Do i miss something or is this just like it is?

You get more xp for being stealthy. The ghost and smooth operator awards give you xp for not being seen or raising alarms at the end of missions.
i noticed that, but i dosn´t feel rewarding.
if you blast through the level you finish anything in minutes and advance in story and "skilltree" quite fast.
If I try to do it stealthy any mistake leads to a reload and that slows down the gameplay like hell. Who cares about a little bit XP if the gameplay it slow and boring. Most of the skills I get for the XP even don´t seem to fit for stealthy gameplay.

Yeah I agree I get somewhat bored with the stealth and find it more fun to just blast through enemies. Wish they would remake Chaos Theory

you want to blast through lvls with stealth , thats like asking for a hot ice cream . Make your choice and proceed , simple . Or play your first gamethrough killing all and the ng+ take your time and go slooooooooooooooow . The choice is yours .

Ermm.... No? I´m disapointed that blasting through is so much easier and has nearly no drawbacks compared to stealthy gameplay.

Are you playing at Deus Ex difficulty level? Its so much more dificult to blast through on the hardest setting.
i´ll try that. thx.

Personally, I can't see the fun in doing it in pacifist mode. But blasting through is just a shoot 'em up, and not really much fun either. I like to mix it up by killing them all, but I do it stealthily - one at a time and I don't let anyone catch me killing anyone. There's all kinds of ways to make it more difficult.

PLAY ON HARDEST DIFFICULTY. STEALTH BECOMES MORE OF A MUST.

Nah it doesn't. Finished game in both ways (pacifist stealth and guns blazing) on last difficulty when game just came out. Harder difficulties just mean more thinking and planning before taking action.

hardest difficulty makes the game rambo style unplayable
its like 1 burst and ure gone .. faster than in csgo ^^

then u stick to splinter cell style ..
not because u want to? because u ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ need to!

I don't see the problem, I find both styles of play satisfying as hell. Sometimes I like playing through without being discovered and eliminating everything Non Lethal, sometimes it's going through without touching anyone.

The game offers you replay value in so many different ways, if anything I'm disappointed that there is a huge exp value for going though silently.

BUT~

Try this for play through get the revolver as your starting weapon, get the unique explosive upgrade and LAUGH HARD as your ragdoll everything you shoot.

Detected is what you want to avoid
Suspicious or alarmed is fine but detected (red) is easy to avoid. Make sure an enemy gets a glimpse of you then knock him put
