getting foxiest of the hounds?
I know I need to not kill anyone in the prologue in order to get pacifist, but do I need to do the same for foxiest of the hounds?

No. You only need to prevent any alarm from being raised. You can kill everyone if you want.

Just pay attention to a very specific point: after you leave Hengsha for the second time, you'll be transported to the ship (Missing Link DLC). Contrarily to the rest of the game, new guards spawn in previous areas. So while you seldomly needed to hide bodies in the main game, you absolutely need to hide them in the DLC. If you knocked out/killed someone in a previous area and left them in an area where a new guard spawns, that guard will sound the alarm as soon as he sees the body, and that may be really far away from where you entered the area. The best place to hide guards is inside air vents.

I have seen that posting. What I do not get is how can I actually track this? How do I know if someone many areas behind me found a body and sounded an alarm or something like that.

Likewise-if my radar rises to alarmed but it then disappears back to normal did I loose Foxiest or am I ok?

Just check whether you got either ghost bonus, or smooth operator at the end of maps, the link provided shows there are 22 and when you can get them.

from the link above

"It should be noted that simply getting all the bonuses does not guarantee the acquisition of the achievement. If, for example, the player leaves a body of a knocked out enemy in a place where other patrolling guards may potentially find him and completes the objective fast enough he will still get the Smooth Operator bonus. But eventually the body will be found and guards will sound an alarm (it may even happen out of player's sight), which in turn will nullify the Foxiest of the Hounds. So it is recommended to play cautiously and not to trust the XP rewards too much."

Simply play the game really stealthy, it make sense to get also the pacifist achievement too when you want to get foxiest of the hounds. Do not take down any enemies, use cloak and avoid any contact. From my experience this is the best way. I played this game more times, once stealthy and rest how i wanted because i did not have to worry about those achievements.

That's why the same page recommends getting the ghost bonus instead of smooth operator, simple as that.

Just invest first praxis to cloacking system and energy cells. Try to max out both. On which difficulty level do you play?

I played on easiest and maxed cloaking and energy cells. I just finished another go through and I got pacificst-no Foxiest.

There were several times where my radar went to alarmed but then either it disappeared after a period of time or in a couple cases if my radar went hostile i reloaded. At this point I have played both ways so I am at a loss for what to do.

I think I am running out of ideas as to what triggers an alarm. Does my radar saying "alarmed" mean something is alarmed or is it simply when it goes hostile and people attack me? I know there are scripted alarms so I am not thinking about those-is the only way to get Foxiest to simply never let your radar say Alarmed period?
{SVK}Puškin Aug 11, 2019 @ 5:42pm
Nope. Alarmed mean you get attention of the enemies, they are looking around and searching what is going on, when they spot you their status change from alarmed into hostile. In both cases they might activate the alarm if there is any near by. If they activate the alarm you will lose the achievement. Dude it is really easy to get the achievement.
