Just shoot him with the stun-gun. Takes a lot of shots, but he'll just stand there, twitching, until he falls down.
If you don't want to do that one, then spamming grenades and/or mines work pretty well.

The remote charges work as well but require timing - mines are self-operating, so they're a drop-and-forget solution. (Well, don't forget; they'll go off on you just as well as him.)
The magnum with the exploding rounds upgrade is also a good choice, but the reload time is a killer and it will take more hits than with mines.
For Namir, the actual trick using explosives is to anticipate the jump - or predict the landing. Either way you're paying attention to his movement and trying to snare him in your own trap.
If you are able to get him quick, the fight is over in less than a minute.
