Any Loot in the Crates and Boxes?

In the earlier games, many of the crates and some of the boxes had stuff in them. So far, in HR, none of the crates or boxes I've broken have had anything in them. Has anyone ever found anything in those things in this game?

No, there was never any loot in any crate in either HR or MD. MD adds back 'cases,' which are like crates, but rather than needing to bust them open, you just open them. There's gun cases, medical cases, and containment cases for misc, sensitive items.

Yeah, smashing them open is pretty much a waste of time, but there are open crates with loot in them here and there. And I've found a few things hidden under boxes and a fridge or two.

I know what you mean. I tried doing a web search on this and all I kept getting as results were hits on loot chest microtransactions.
