After that the controller works fine.
edit: if you keep the mouse near you it makes hacking A LOT easier and faster. (you can use the mouse and controller at same time unlike skyrim, fallout, etc.)
Conclusion is simple, the game would have controller support if you desired it enough regardless.
Just remember that XBox One controllers (newer versions) use bluetooth for wireless connectivity so you may need an adapter if you use a desktop --most all laptops come with bluetooth so all is good there. The Xbx1 Controller will also need usb 2.0-3.0 for wired connectivity as it can charge from USB now like it would when connected to an Xbox.
Thinking about getting one of the new XBox One S Controllers myself --they work with newer titles and 360 era titles as well, so you are good to go there.
Take care.
There is some games that doesn't support full compatibility and this could be a problem in the future.
Thank you for all. I will definetaly buy a XBox 1 Controller but I don't know if this will be usefull to play newer titles in the future. I can't buy the new XBox One S Controllers and I bought the older one, the XBox1 controller. Although I have to be changing the battery frequently due to the fact that this controller uses battery.
Where can I find a keymapping tutorial to understand how to proceed just in this case?.
I don't know what hacking is.......I'm new here :).
Strongly recommend you buy a charger pack. Essentially a rechargable battery you charge by plugging it in, then it charges then unplug and you can play without a wire again. It is going to be far cheaper veryw uickly to do this.
