the game has memory of what is in it and keeps memory trough levels
so when you come back to detroit the second time, it will all be there
detroit itself is reset and altered but the apartment is safeguarded trough memory
( and like the guy above - you can't put it in the safe - there is no depth to itemdropping :) )
i stack weapons on cisplay in there all over the salon table and chairs
( cause in my universe jensen adores his weapons to look at ^^ )
they always stayed around

maybe mines differ ?
or it bugged out trough pile-clipping ( were they on top of each other ? ) - giving the game an aneurysm on how to handle it and it then deciding to simply not handle it :p
engines really don't like cliping issues :p for some reason :p
i think we all can see the all round example of a body and a car fused together and the game having a stroke because of it :p
