I quote the game is doing itself multiple saves, that's handy but I'm not sure of the logic applied to make a different save file. The save seems more or less constant but it seems some event involves create a new one instead of overriding the last.
You mean between Mac & Windows, or on the same system?
Save-games are overwriten by your latest play-through, each time you pass from one of the game's checkpoints. There are about 15-20 of them, evenly spaced along the story (e.g. 2-3 per Chapter). You also have an "active" save-slot (called "Resume") that auto-saves each time you are in Camp or in a Village/Town/City.

You cant do crap about it, no. You just loose your strongest and most trusted party members without being able to do a squat.
At least it should have had the option of Ekill stoping and killing him or something if you happened to have Ekill not being your prisioner.
But this, this is disgusting. Can I at least edit my save files to stop this event from happening?
No, you can't. But what you *can* do is "revive" Egil, if that's what hurt you so much, so that you can have him in your caravan until the end of the game, use him in battles and all... I can provide details on how to do this, if you like.
I play the game on steam (I guess everyone on this forum does) and Win10.
My Scathach unlearned his Trample ability when he learned Mule Kick on level 6 and I would like to fix this analogue to what's mentioned in https://bannersaga.gamepedia.com/Ro%27Ech for Ro'Ech, but I can't find the savegames.
Anyone able to help?
Oh and in addition to this: the game keeps returning to german language on every restart(1&2), even though I have the steam-setting on english (only exists on TBS1). Not a big deal, but i thought i could mention it, if someone of the developers reads this.
Hi Aleonymous,
I have to say I also didn't like how this particular event turned out.
He is my key hero and an important part in my strategy, and I play on Hard. He's the only reliable tank I can trust :)
Could you please provide instructions on how to revive him?
Also is this hack going to make him available for Banner Saga 2 and 3 which I'm looking forward to play after I finish the first part.
