Yeah I noticed that the conversation should be clearer. You have to pay attention to the name at the top of the dialogue box much too closely. Other games have solved this problem by having the speaker's portrait, or in the case of the much superior Fire Emblem games, dimming the characters that aren't speaking.

Yea well that would help. But what doesn't make sense is that it keeps changing the POV - it is very confusing when you have to make choices - in chapter 1 you are that white beard giant - and in chapter 3 you are suddenly that brown berad giant talking to the white berad giant whom you control in chapter 1. srsly wut.

have you never read a book? you might have trouble with one if you can't pay attention to characters and POV changes

Aye, the POV can be a little confusing at times. It's fine after some getting-used-to, but I agree that it could have been made clearer, especially in the moments where you have to make a choice and/or address a specific person. Nevertheless kawagatam is right: if you're not speed-clicking through the dialogues/conversations, it's pretty easy to follow!

i think its fine, not hard to understand at all

Yes I have read thousands, the key difference is that there is often narration and not just (mostly) dialogues. When a chapter starts with "Looking down at a pond filled with joyous dragonflies, Keith quickly skipped over the water" It leaves no doubt as to who the hell it is talking about.

Yes it's not game breaking, just a bit annoyed as it can be made clearer without much more effort in design

It was even more confusing at the preview-build stage... That's why they put up that special mention in the game's introduction, about the POV shifting from chapter to chapter. I think it would have been better if they always (instead of sometimes) put the character's portraits next to each spoken sentence or POV-ed description/thought etc.
