Bad translation into Spanish

First, I want to thank the Spanish game to be translated, but the translation is horrible: there are many faults, errors of verbs, gender changes, etc..

I don't see the devs calling out for help in the translations, at least for the first game (this one). So, the best thing to do, is team-up and go the "fan-made" way... There is a general-modding tool that was made available with the latest patch. It's called "Zeno" and you can find some details on how it works here: http://stoicstudio.com/forum/showthread.php?3314 . When your modifications are done, they can be packaged in a small and easy-to-install/distribute mod. If your work is consistent and thorough and you can get a lot of players "upvoting" it (e.g. with posts in this forum or, preferably, in the stoic forums), then, who knows, it might be eventually adopted as the official one with a future patch.

The translation has many faults. The game can be understood but would be great if they improve the translations.

I have played the game and i had to change the translation back to english! The spanish translation is rubbish

Spanish translation is a shame. For a game plenty of dialogs like The Banner Saga, developers should have hired a proffessional translator, but it seems the game was translated by someone who is not native from a country where spanish is the main language. Furthermore, the guy who translated this game has a low level of spanish.

I couldn't play this game in english because it was difficult for me. I waited for months for the spanish translation. I hope some spanish guys translate this to a decent spanish. Until that, I won't play TBS.

Bad translation actually makes me grateful for having english as a first language!

I understand that the standards of Spanish translations are quite high, as almost every game released there gets a quite decent official translation. That may apply to other languages too, like French and German. That may be part of the "so negative" feedback in this thread.

I obviously can't judge the quality, but I speak a fair bit of French and I formed the same impression as you guys: There's A LOT of room for improvement.

I just can't play this game in spanish, its better to play it in english and dont understand one or two words sometimes rather than trying to figure what the *** its saying.
