If I remember correctly (and I sometimes do not), I thought this baby dredge dies after efforts by members of the caravan to save its life . . . could have just been my choices in the story that caused that ending.

i remember that child that dies is the little girl before..if I not wrong :o

That's the *random* event involving a *human* toddler, called Aukfrosta, or something; yes, depending on your choices she might die, but there's subsequent happenings to this event. However, archita was talking about the *fixed* event (at Igrid godstone) involving a *dredge* baby.
