How to get Ash Mead item?

I'm in Boersgard and trying to get the Ash Mead item. If I search for supplies, apparently I'm supposed to get a tip from a mercant about finding it for him. Except, I'm not getting anything at all. What's the problem?

Hello there. I think you might have to wait for one day or something, for that "mini-quest" to appear. I have never gotten that myself, so I can't really help. Please report once you find it, to update the wiki! -- http://bannersaga.gamepedia.com/Ash_Mead

Hm, from that video it looks like you have to waste a day searching the city for supplies and finding nothing (option 3, maybe option 2 as well) in order to receive the note the following day. So basically it takes two days to get the Ash Mead. That answers that I suppose. Thanks.

Yeah, it seems like a small waste. That item is not so powerful, in my opinion, to be worth it. Me, while in Boersgard, I helped Iver fight-off the Dredge at the gates, for all the days of the siege...

It's not a bad item, but is probably still not worth it. I went for it anyway though because I needed it for the treasure hunter achievement.

Ah, OK. It's not hard to get 100% achievements at this game. But, I believe that a minimum of two play-throughs are required, as some are "mutually-exclusive", for example NoStarvation vs. NoLowMorale. It took me three play-throughs, I think.
