Any gay / bi characters in this series?

I see someone asked this question back in 2014 and got a predictable mess of responses, but here goes nothing.

If this your reply, kindly eff off:
1. This isn't a dating sim. (Not what I'm asking.)
2. Sexuality isn't mentioned at all. (BS, I've played the first game for like 10 minutes and have already waded through like three stilted straight relationships.)
3. Vikings didn't accept homosexuality. (They didn't fight armies of robots, either.)
4. Why does everything have to be gay? (Because it does. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them.)

Hi. Just to reply to what you're asking: no, there isn't any mentioned or hinted.

Regarding 2, which is the third one? I could only think about two of them, Rook/Oddleif and Alette/Egil, which are almost the only one i could think of in the whole game, maybe there is another one in Saga2, but it's quite a speculation.

Yrsa is the other female character appearing at the start of the game; maybe something about her and Ludin?

I haven't seen any LGBT+ relationships directly stated in the game. That being said, varl appear to all be male and don't reproduce (they were created directly by the gods), so it seems likely that there would be a lot of homosexual relationships among the varl. On the flip side of that, since they don't reproduce, it's entirely possible that they were created without that aspect of their beings, and they may all be asexual. Just some food for thought.

But yeah, I like diversity in my games too. I hear ya.
