Edit:
And let's not forget, each time you destroy a card, your chances of drawing other cards goes up. AND if you use Hanged man, it's a way to turn a five card discard into a seven card draw (you will always draw up to max hand size, with very few exceptions). Hack+Fibonacchi, for example, goes especially hard here, since with less face cards your chance for those lower cards goes up. Assuming you destroy each face card, that's 12 mult - not that bad, really, compared with Uncommon jokers and well ahead of Commons - and you can ADD faces to destroy them later, especially if you get glass ones through standard boosters or convert them with tarot into glass...
Card destruction isn't nearly as situational as you think.
yet another edit:
oh it's 1x for each destruction
oh ♥♥♥♥ that's wild
lol
It was unbelievable.
I've played for about 60 hours.
This post is how I'm learning there's a difference. Maybe this is why I've only won like 4 times...
The only thing you can lack in this game is luck.
This Canio card, I only ever gotten it ONCE lol, of all the gazillion times I played the game in 16 hours.
Been a long time since the last time I have played this, only ever playing this again if there is a mod where we can deactivate "X" amount of cards from the deck.
Almost like there's people missing a lot of intricacies about various gameplay elements...
There is nothing really intricate about this game mate, it's a glorified slot machine.
like yeah man, i imagine every game seems impossibly random when nothing means anything and you're just kinda mashing buttons, but that isn't really a level of interaction games design themselves for, you can get way further just by reading half a sentence here or there.
I also should mention that I drew Canio while my other jokers were all jokers which affect face cards, so I was really unsure and reluctant to use Canio actively. I thought it would destroy my current build but man was I wrong. It was totally the right move.
But since the game is partially luck based, it still could go wrong regardless.
Great, now play more 50 hours until you perhaps get the card again LOL
The game decides when you win or lose, it only depends of the seed. It's impossible to lose with a good seed, the game steers you in that direction. 95% luck, and 5% "skill" .
Though really only Triboulet is typically that great for climbing deep into endless (not counting one trick with Perkeo). Canino can help get some into endless. Triboulet is also the only one consistent for helping beat ante 8.
Also not sure why people think a million is impressive. A million does not have an e in it.
