At one point, I flooded my deck with one suit and wild and I can flush with 4 cards so I just yolo and get a flush anw.
Another way is to discard 5 cards in the first hand.
Slowly discard the other 3 in the next hands.
Or use tarot to transform.
For OP: there's various strategies, but to keep it short:
-switching between sorting by rank and suit can help you figure out what a face down card is
-only cards after a played hand are face down, so don't use all your discards before playing a hand
-smaller hand (for instance pair) means less face down cards
-changing a card via tarot card shows it for a little bit
