Cards face down - How

Hello, I think that I am dumb and missing something, but how am I supposed to fight the boss when all the cards I draw are face down? I know I am missing something. I've used the sort by rank, but I don't see what to do besides using five cards on one hand and praying to god since I only have the default deck.
Any help is super appreciated.

It's only the first hand.

At one point, I flooded my deck with one suit and wild and I can flush with 4 cards so I just yolo and get a flush anw.

Another way is to discard 5 cards in the first hand.
Slowly discard the other 3 in the next hands.
Or use tarot to transform.

those are fine i just play a yolo 5 and discard the other 3 next hand. the ones that facedown your draws are much harder.

You may be thinking of a different boss than OP. One boss is first hand drawn face down, one is all face cards drawn face down, and one is all cards after a play drawn face down. I think they meant the last one?

For OP: there's various strategies, but to keep it short:
-switching between sorting by rank and suit can help you figure out what a face down card is
-only cards after a played hand are face down, so don't use all your discards before playing a hand
-smaller hand (for instance pair) means less face down cards
-changing a card via tarot card shows it for a little bit

You're right, that is the one I was talking about. I can't believe I didn't think about using the discard. I knew I was missing something. Thank you :)
