cloud saving?

Is there no cloud saving support? it does not seem to work between my PC and my handhelds.

For now, manually backing up my save data periodically, just in case. It seems cloud saving is working on profile 1 now. That said, profiles 2 and 3 are excluded from the cloud save from what I can see. Would appreciate having these added to steam cloud as well.

I just had this exact issue - played 3 hours on my steam deck, closed it out, installed and booted on my PC, it reset my profile completely on both.

Just installed this on a second PC. Nothing is unlocked, all profiles are empty. Fingers crossed this didn't delete all the progress on the first PC. I'll update later.

UPDATE: After reading some more comments, I force closed the game and steam on the 2nd PC out of fear. I am back on the 1st PC and my progress is all there in the cloud. It didn't even throw a sync error so I think I dodged it.

Cross saves don't seem to be working between Mac and Linux.

^ this, cloud saves don't seem to work between Windows and Mac machines for some reason. I was anticipating Mac version since the release, but seems like I can't play without a risk to wipe out my progress :'(

Yup, noticing the same thing here. Cloud saves just says "checking..." perpetually on macOS. I'll stick to the Deck for now, I suppose.

Copy the files over from the PC and enjoy the native Mac version. You can always copy your progress back to PC too.


Steam cloud is not yet configured for Mac Balatro - if you wish to bring your save from one system to the other you will need to do so manually in the mean time.

Windows save file folder: %appdata%/Balatro/

Mac save file folder: /Users/user/Library/Application Support/Balatro/

Copy ALL files from one to the other in order to transfer (take a backup just in case)
