Did you just end up unlocking the cards too?

Was wondering how many people just said screw it and chose to unlock all the cards and how long it took them to get there. I had about 40 hours in and cleared gold stake once and figured that that was about as much as I cared to do limited by unlocks. Sucks that I can't get achievements anymore as I do enjoy them, but man it's so much more fun now with all the jokers being accessible.

I just kept plodding along, still have 3 left to go, but almost got them all now.

Yeah I wanted to just some of the unlocks were just annoying like the blank one, and like discarding royal flushes. I sorta felt like getting past a gold stake was my end game now it's more about building like crazy.

You could have changed profile and unlocked everything in that new profile. Then go back to your original one if you ever felt like getting achievements.

i had probably 7 or 8 still locked by the time i decided i should play with the goal of unlocking the rest of them. i actually found it really easy and was even able to knock out multiple unlocks in a single game more than once. i used the magic deck for this, as most of the remaining unlocks needed really specific deck manipulation / enhancements.

one of the very last ones for me was actually Satellite. it was just so against how i normally play the game, i generally always spend what I have, up to what I can earn with interest. having a big stockpile is wasted potential imo. i think i used yellow deck for Satellite and made a build with re-triggering economy jokers like business joker and rough diamond, and i unlocked it.

all this said i'm sure luck played a big part, i don't blame you for just using the unlock option. you can always do another profile if you want to try and get the achivements.
