HDR bug

The game works fine, but it always turns off HDR in windows on quitting.

I'm also seeing this behavior with my HDR. When quitting the game, "Use HDR" in the Settings > System > Display > HDR menu becomes disabled. In order to fix it, I need to turn Use HDR on, then off, then on again. This is in Win 11 Pro, Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631. I'm using a RTX 4090 with the latest Nvidia drivers.

More information: If I switch Video Window Mode to Fullscreen and then quit, it doesn't turn off HDR. If I switch Video Window Mode to Windowed or even just alt-tab, HDR is immediately turned off. Also, if I change the Video Window Mode and quit the game, it doesn't remember that setting, even if I press Apply. It always starts in Borderless.

I was seeing this in the demo as well. Unfortunately it's still present in the full release. :(

The same for me. Turn off HDR before starting the game, Shortcut: "Win+alt +b".

Thanks for the hotkey idea. Quickly toggling HDR fixed the bug for me.

Can't do that on the Steam Deck sadly.

Just want to bump this thread as it's quite frustrating. Not sure how much of an easy fix this is, but would love to not have to toggle a bunch of windows settings whenever I quit Balatro.
