Blue Seal Appreciation Thread

I did not put respect on Blue Seal prior to its change. Not even a little.

At best they were decent makers of fodder for Campfire, Constellation, or Satellite. Maybe Observatory. Now it's an actual question whether to take a red seal or a blue seal. There's still the synergy with the previous jokers but a few blue seals can keep a run above water with subpar jokers, or pivot hands for a boss blind. I hit like level 20 Flush in Ante 4 with blessings of Telescope, Deaths, Fools, and Cryptids after getting a Blue seal in a Booster. Added in Crystal Ball and Observatory to have hands drenched in Mama Liz's E oil.

I love me Red Steel/Golden cards more than almost anything but there's a good argument for which seal gets the Chariot now. I'd almost say this small change makes Blue seals too strong however the chances of getting a standard Spectral pack with Purple/Gold or Blue seal, where Blue is imo a must take, is pretty rare so it balances itself I guess.

I got Flush to level 38 in a gold stake run. Considering that flush is a rather "tough" hand to use blue seal with, it seems that this version of the blue seal is probably busted. As you said, the only thing really stopping you is finding the first seal.

I've been grinding stickers for a while with the ghost deck exclusively. I see more seals than I would with other decks. Things get crazy quite often.

Not complaining. But seeing blue seal on par with red seal is quite a change, for sure.
