In the experimental branch, for context.
When you have "Shoot the moon" (each queen held in hand gives +13 mult) and "Baron" (each king held in hand gives X1.5 mult) Baron will always activate first, no matter the order the jokers are arranged in. Considering that they're meant to activate left to right, I'm pretty sure this is unintended.

That's because it isn't a joker order problem. It's a cards-in-hand order problem.
You need to rearrange your kings to be right of your queens.

Baron and Steel King take effect at the same time: when held cards are evaluated.

It should also be noted that when a single card is evaluated, there's an order of operations there too.

Card's own value (if relevant, including bonus chips), card's own enhancement (mult, etc), card's own edition, card's own seal, then joker effects (left to right).

Oh, and Space Joker happens before anything else, except the Boss effect, which goes absolutely first.

(More accurately: all jokers are checked for upgrades, left to right, as soon as cards are played, but there aren't that many that upgrade based on hand-played; but this happens after boss effect and before any played cards are evaluated).

In Hand abilities trigger with hand order not joker order.
So works as intended.
It's a bit annoying that you have to put Queens before Kings, hopefully a reverse ordering option will maybe be added.
