Can you brainstorm a blueprint?
Blueprint copies the ability on the right. brainstorm copied the card on the far left side.
So I'm trying to figure out what brainstorm does exactly. I figure one of these?
1: copies the same card blueprint does.
2: copies the card on the right of it.

Yes, copying cards is recursive. Blueprint can copy another blueprint or a brainstorm to copy what it's copying, as can a brainstorm copy a blueprint. Provided the loop isn't closed (e.g. blueprint and brainstorm copying each other) they'll all copy what that 1 card is copying.

if brainstorm hits blueprint it will take the affect of the card blueprint is copying
if blueprint hits brainstorm blueprint will copy the card brainstorm is copying
if the original is incompatible the copy will be incompatible too.

Take a Joker setup like this: Blueprint, DNA, Brainstorm. Brainstorm copies Blueprint which is copying DNA which will give you 2 of the first card played instead of just one.

I don't really like Brainstorm as it's situational. Like if you want it to copy a multiplicative Mult you gotta have that card go first, basically invalidating it, for Brainstorm to copy it. Had a run last night where Invisible Joker copied Blueprint and hot damn that was a fun run.
