How often does the game save?

I just started playing the game and usually play a whole run in one sitting until I lose, but how often does it save if we exit and continue the run later?

Every time you do a meaningful action. Play a hand, chose a blind, buy something, sell something, etc.

OK thank you I wasn't sure if it's documented anywhere. Other rogue-likes that I've seen that support mid-run saves seem to only do it at the end of a level.

Do note, that if you exit during some actions (mainly opening packs by skipping a blind IIRC) you can get into a softlocked gamestate, meaning you have to start a new run from the main menu. But if you just need to go do something else, you can generally quit at any moment that you'd expect and not lose anything.

Thanks. One time in the middle of my run I had to change sound in Windows from USB headphones to my monitor, and when I did, the game's audio didn't change (not sure if that's a bug but I know other games follow Windows audio setting) so I waited until the end of the round to exit and reload the game, and that's when I noticed it had a continue game option.
