Oh, indeed. I would assume there'd be new mechanics with said DLC.
I.E new Decks. Jokers. Game modes.
Imagine This game, but it's something like Chess. Though I would assume it would stick with a card-theme.

Personally, I think it's a complete game.
I, too, share the fear that Devs can "damage" a game by tinkering with it after it's all said-&-done, which is why I adore when it's ( DLC ) given in the form of options. Don't like something? Toggle switch! Rare thing in games nowadays.
Indeed the game does feel very complete, which is why I wonder if it'll get a expansion.
