so i just gotta say that I think asking $15 for this game is a red flag for me when you can buy dave the diver for $20 which is a fully fleshed out and great game that includes balatro inside of it as a minigame you can return to as many times as you like. seems a bit greedy, i could get behind a $5 price point.

if you enjoy balatro and have less than 2 hrs in the game i would recommend a refund and just buying dave the diver. 100x the content, 5 star game, and you can play all the balatro you want.

i just think dave the diver is the overall better deal, you get the same balatro experience with a whole other game on top of it for only $5 more. its at least a 20hr campaign that is super enjoyable. more bang for your buck

You do realize the minigame in Dave isn't actually what Balatro is like, right? It's closer to what the demo was, but even that had more content in reality. It's got way less jokers, you only play 3 antes (so not even half of a full game), it doesn't have consumable cards nor vouchers, no different decks or stakes. Jimbo's Game is less like a taste of Balatro, and more like deeply inhaling through your nose in Balatro's bakery.
If you're so upset about the $15 pricetag, just buy the mobile version instead. It's $10.

you're literally comparing a card game to a game about a diver. they're entirely different games. also you can easily mod balatro and iirc there is a mod that adds more content that's supposed to fit the game's design. also, balatro is also a fully fleshed out game? i don't get what you were trying to say there.

regarding this, steam has terribly localised prices for some regions, so balatro ends up costing 64,99 pln in for ex. poland, while 15$ is worth 56,78 pln and people don't exactly make a lot of money here.

My favorite is when political topics get posted but the mods agree with the post so they leave it and begin to ban everyone who argues against the post for trying to "create an argument" while the literal political post still sits open unclosed and undeleted.
