Planet merchant/planet tycoon vouchers seem like a net negative

Unless you have astronomer or constellation, it seems like taking the planet voucher will almost always be a bad idea, since it just makes less jokers appear. Tarot merchant/tycoon are actually good since tarots have like a 1/2 chance of being useful rather than a 1/9, but it seems like the planet vouchers, unless you have one of the two jokers that synergize with them, are pretty bad
Idk if i'm missing something but it just seems like it's diluting the voucher pool so you're less likely to get helpful vouchers which is a bit annoying

They can be really good with campfire, but besides that and the examples you provided they're generally not great. It's fine to take if you have a complete joker roster, as seeing more jokers is less desirable at that point than upgrading your hand even more.

100% agree. I have 300 hours in the game and have still never even picked up the x4 version of the planet tycoon. Its 100% a negative, a small niche for a doubled or triple Constellation run maybe? Less chance of getting jokers or Tarots = bad.

I hope it gets changed in the future because its just not good.

There are circumstances where it is good. For example; if you're flexible on hands, have good economy, have any planet-themed jokers already, have astronomer as you mentioned. Agree it's one of the weakest vouchers
