My turtle bean got eaten? Is that what happends after 5 rounds? I kinda wanted to keep it for its buff. Or maby cuz it was next to ramen? Quite a few interactions are kinda hard to understand and can be devestating.

Jokers that decrease their own values (such as ramen's -0.01x mult per discard, popcorn's -4 mult per hand, or turtle bean's -1 hand size per round) disappear when that value hits 0 (or 1 in the case of xmult), the value where it'd be useless. It's often worth selling it when it's 1 unit away from that.

Modified Jokers, like holographic, etc. will go away if they are consumptive Jokers like Ramen or Turtle Bean. It's worth knowing that. Just because they are modified doesn't erase their mortality. The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. (Roy Baty thinks: WFT is a candle??)
