try green deck, I think blue is best deck in the game but green don't need interest management.
Hello Atlatlatlatlatlatlatlatlist;

Thank.

I did what you advised me but without success because at a certain point the challenges imposed very debilitating constraints on me. My draw is also unfavorable. I generally start very easily then suddenly comes the big disaster which ejects me from the game. this is often after level 5/8. I have good jokers and improved cards, lvl 3 or 4 in pairs, double pairs etc... but nothing to do.
You're probably missing some fundamentals.

If you can consistently survive the first few antes but still fail to win the game, then you're probably not scaling enough.

You have to pick scaling Jokers and/or enhance your cards to boost scoring.

The following common Jokers are scaling:

Fortune Teller
Green Joker
Red Card
Ride the Bus
Runner
Square Joker
Supernova

The last run I had about +50 Mult from a single scaling Joker (Flash Card) and combined >10 xMult from xMult Jokers (Cavendish, Throwback, Constellation).

You need Mult to win.

If you feel you don't get enough chances to acquire suitable Jokers, then you probably have to boost your economy. You need more re-rolls.

Also: don't skip many blinds. Unless you have Throwback. You need those shops.

Hello snakeskip;

indeed I am a brand new player and certainly I make mistakes of choice because in 45 hours of play I have not even obtained a victory by 100% chance. My starts are often excellent and suddenly it is the big unstoppable fall towards level 6-7. So I conclude that the luck of the beginner is excluded from the probabilities. I will try to follow your few tips. Thank you.

I don't think that's WR by any mean. Someone once posted here, first win 60 hours in.

You don't sound like one of the bozos that are just here to whine about the game. Seems you are actually trying to learn something. If you ever want to, send a friend request my way, you'll stream the game to me via Steam, i'll give you 3-4 advice and you'll win, simple as that. With near 50 hours, you know the game pretty well, it will be easy to point things to focus on, they'll instantly make sense to you.

I helped a few players this way before, and it worked.

If you don't want that kind of outside help, I fully understand too. But anyway, good luck.

hello malogoss,

Thank you for your suggestion but it will be complicated, I don't speak a word of English, Google translate yes but me no.

Here is the idea that I apply now: I copy/paste a seed that I start again and again and again...so I rectify or replay the same sequences. I understand little by little my strong points and my mistakes. It's a good idea rather than changing card draws every time.

(You know even the best game in the world will have detractors, the worst game in the world will have admirers... such is the world).

My French is 5x better than my English, so if you happen to speak French that would work. But I don't know any 3rd language.

I don't think it's a good idea to replay the same seed like that, over and over. If you ever win, you will have learned how to beat that specific seed rather than learned how to beat the game in general. At white stake you can apply general principles that are good in any run. But knowing that the 2nd shop at ante 5 can be rerolled twice for a negative Driver's License doesn't help at all, except on that seed.

EDIT: on top of that, the game does not count seeded runs as "real" wins. You would win, but it would not unlock anything. Including next stake level for that deck, and including a new deck. Plus whatever a first win unlocks (spoilers).

Thanks to the person who awarded me a "clown". I take it as a great compliment.

I’d recommend checking out the Balatro-Preview mod - https://github.com/DivvyCr/Balatro-Preview

it integrates directly into the game and shows you the score for your selected cards without needing to calculate it yourself.

It’s super helpful for getting the grasp on the key mechanics. For instance, it made me realize how important the order of your jokers is - always placing the "x" multiplier jokers after the "+" multiplier jokers can really boost your score.
hello 168cm 83kg 13cm;

thank you for this tool which I will try. yes I know the importance of the joker place. I manage to have formidable combinations and of course the cards in hand do not come out for these extraordinary bonuses. .....RRRRRRhhh!
