These minor mechanic quirks don't bother me at all. Every game has them. The only reason people feel entitled about Balatro is that it is generous enough to give a brief tooltip for everything, and it just so happens that these tooltips are not always 100% accurate and exhaustive or whatever. There is always room for "but what if..." questions which could only be avoided by opening a literal wiki page every time you hover a joker. And even then people would complain.
"Card Sharp: x3 mult if played poker hand has already been played this round while this joker was not disabled." Really? You think THAT would be better? Even though there is only one rare situation in which the appended text is "needed"?
Come to think of it, it would be an interesting experience to learn this game from zero without tooltips at all. I'm not convinced people shouldn't do just that.
